Basketball Banquet

On Saturday February 12th, the Trinity tigers women’s basketball team had their end of season banquet. Although they hope their season is far from over, they celebrated how far they’ve come from the beginning of the season and paid tribute to the four years of hard work their seniors put into the program. The banquet was located at Scenic Loop Café in Boerne, Texas. There, the girls, coaches and parents enjoyed fajitas with chips and queso while reminiscing in shared memories. The team put together a video of memories throughout the season. When 15 college girls spend almost everyday together since October 20th there are bound to be some crazy things happen. The team put together a video of all their season highlights, as well as those funny moments. The underclassmen took on the challenge of paying tribute to the seniors by mocking them on film and doing and saying things the seniors did throughout the season. It was all in good fun and the seniors got their chance as well. They presented each underclassman with a gift while sharing a goofy story about them to the whole room. The banquet helped the team realize how lucky they are to be a part of such a great group and team. Senior captain Danielle Hubenak commented, “it was the perfect event to send us into our last four home games. It made us realize how great of a team we have and really helped our team chemistry.”
